Residents are welcome to use these areas for study or relaxation but are asked to observe the following rules:
Please do not walk across the grass.
Please do not play any sports in the quad/breezeway, e.g., frisbee, soccer, etc.
Please do not rollerblade, hover board or ride bicycles or scooters in the quad/breezeway.
Please refrain from touching the sprinklers, as they are controlled electronically by the grounds team and tampering with them may lead to flooding.
Drones or flying objects of any kind are forbidden on the premises.
KCRA Common Room
The perfect spot to catch up with friends, read a book or just chill!
TV and Games Room
Grab some friends for a game or two, or just chill and make use of the communal TV.
Two TVs are available for use: one (in the TV room) equipped with a VCR/DVD player, the other (in the games room) has a DVD player as well as an XBOX.
Knoxfra Common Room
Located above the St. George Street foyer next to the Dining Hall, the KCR is available for students’ exclusive use for study and other activities when there is no other function scheduled.
Basement Common Room
A cosy common space located in our lower level.
The Gym
Featuring a stationary bicycle and a rack of dumbbells.
Located on the first floor in West House, the gym is available for the use by residents only (guests not permitted).
Use of the gym is at the residents’ own risk and those using the gym are expected to abide by the rules of the space.
Upper Hall
Previously known as the Dining Hall, the Upper Hall is now open as a new space for you to study, socialize and relax.
Opening hours for this space are:
9am – 8pm on weekdays 12pm – 5pm on weekends
The Upper Hall is located next to to the KCRA Common Room at the top of the stairs.
Laundry Room
24/7 laundry facilities are for the use of residents only.
